Merridale Cidery

More Orchard in Every Glass! Merridale ciders are farm-crafted in Cowichan using just apples and yeast for pure, orchard-fresh taste. No added sulphites or preservatives, and naturally gluten-free.

Vancouver Island Brewery

ALL NATURAL SINCE 1984. Island Pacific Brewing was founded in 1984 by small business owners in southern Vancouver Island. We moved into a facility in central Saanich and serviced the pubs on Vancouver Island with brands such as Goldstream Lager, Hermann’s Dark Lager and Piper’s Pale Ale. In 1987, Hermann Hoerterer brewed the first batch of Hermannator — a special gift for his close friends. It was the first “specialty” beer to be packed in Victoria in decades.

Lighthouse Brewing Company

Starting a craft brewery in 1998 was, by necessity, a labor of love. The demand for hand-made, small-batch beer was not what it is today. But those first kegs of our Race Rocks Ale we proudly delivered to local pubs and restaurants found a market that was receptive to flavourful, locally brewed ales back when bland, generic beers ruled. It turns out we were onto something. Though our lineup of beers has grown, the way we brew all of them—always keeping quality and consistency in everything we do—remains the same. That artisanal spirit that Lighthouse was founded on continues today: brew excellent craft beer every day.

Category 12

You might call it magic. Perhaps you call it luck. But in reality, it all comes down to this…

(Sound Science + Good Taste)4 × Art8 = (Great Beer)
There is a fundamental basis of biology and chemistry that guides the fermentation process and enables the creation of consistently great beers. Category 12’s head brewer and founder, Michael Kuzyk, has been brewing beer for more than 20 years and has his doctorate in microbiology and biochemistry from UVic. But all work and no play makes… well, you know the rest. After leading the creation of several world-class research labs, he decided it was time to make his own – dedicated to the pursuit of exceptional beer.

Junction Cidery

LOCAL IS EVERYTHING TO US. When we are searching for our ingredients, we start with the Saanich Peninsula and then expand out to the rest of the Island. If we cannot find what we are looking for then we search the mainland. Some exceptions to this are hops, which we source from around BC, and some spices and botanicals. We like to meet with our ingredient suppliers before using their products to make sure we align on our values and commitment to quality.

Driftwood Brewery

Distinct and local, at Driftwood Brewery, we aspire to create a unique profile in every beer we make. And, from the moment we sold our first keg, we’ve upheld a commitment to never cut corners on quality, character or style.

Howl Brewing

Our focus is small batch high quality craft beer made from BC grown ingredients. Our ever changing menu is often dictated by what is available locally. Being a small brewery, customers can look forward to trying beer styles that are obsolete, beer that showcases local farms, traditional styles, as well as learn about beer from the staff.

Hoyne Brewing

Distinct and local, at Driftwood Brewery, we aspire to create a unique profile in every beer we make. And, from the moment we sold our first keg, we’ve upheld a commitment to never cut corners on quality, character or style.

Brass Monkey Brewing

Formally Moon Under Water Brewing & Distilling! We’re still a local, family operated business committed to sourcing ingredients locally. Our barley & wheat is grown and malted in the Saanich Peninsula.

Straight and Narrow

The Strait & Narrow Pacific Coast Cocktails are crafted with custom spirits, made by our in-house distiller and blended with natural flavours, sparkling water, and a hint of cane sugar.
